Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Ovidy Karuru has thanked the club’s supporters for their endless support and promised to play better where ever he lands next season.
Karuru is part of a host of players who are set to leave Naturena ahead of the upcoming transfer window, after making just five appearances for the Soweto giants this season.
“To all Amakhosi supporters thank you for the support you gave me for the past two years, though I didn’t get a chance to prove myself but thank you for the messages of encouragement that you been sending,” he said.
“May God bless you all and to Zimbabweans who been following my progress, sorry for letting you all down but I promise you, come next season, where ever I will go, I will perform. So those who know me and who have seen me play before, please judge me next season. God bless you all.”
The 27-year-old joined Amakhosi from Belgian outfit OH Leuven two seasons ago, making his debut during a 2-1 win over Free State Stars under former coach Stuart Baxter in December 2014.
