Prep star standout and soon to be collegiate athlete, Agnes Mansaray of Penn Wood High School in Philadelphia was at it again over the weekend as she bettered the Sierra Leone’s women’s 800 meters record which she had tied last year by one hundredth of second.
Agnes now holds the record solely by herself when over the weekend at the High school regional meet in Pennsylvania she lowered the record from 2:09.70 to 2:09.69 and will compete at the Pennsylvania State Championships next where she might yet again better the record.

Agnes was also able to record a personal best time in her 400 meters split time in the 4x400 meters relay when she recorded a 54.07 split time in her lap to help get her High School team to the State Championships.
