Former AEK Larnaca and Apollon Limassol forward, Mustapha ‘Haji’ Bangura scored his first goal for Serbian club Borac Čačak in Friday’s 1-1 away draw against Vojvodina in the Serbian Super Liga.
Bangura, who joined the Serbian club a few months back, waited for his third game in the Super Liga before opening his account to help Borac Čačak extend their unbeaten run to six matches.
Čačak gaffer, Ljubisa Stamenkovic congratulated his players for their performance throughout the final whistle.
He told the club’s website: “I congratulate my players who showed a lot of heart. They did not fall even after conceding a goal; we deserved the tie in the game. We missed a couple of chances but it all made up for in the last minute. This point means a lot to us, and with great optimism we expect the next matches to be great for us.'
