
ABIDJAN (2016 FIBA Africa U18 Championships for Men and Women) - FIBA Africa confirmed on Thursday that Egypt, Mali, Rwanda and Tunisia are the four countries which have submitted bids to host the 2016 FIBA Africa U18 Championships for Men and Women.
Egypt, Mali, Rwanda and Tunisia have all expressed their interest in hosting the region's top youth events.
Meanwhile, Mali and Egypt are the finalists to organise the FIBA Africa U18 Women's Championship. The winners and runners-up will secure their places for the 2017 FIBA U19 Women's World Championship.
FIBA Africa is to decide on the hosts of these continental youth events and confirm their dates at its annual Central Board meeting scheduled to take place on 24-25 March in Cairo, Egypt.
