
Michael alongside Serra Leone soccer legend Mohamed Kallon were disqualified in the last SLFA Presidential elections by the SLFA Normalisation Committee during the August 3rd 2013 election that saw Madam Isha Johansen elected as an unopposed Presidential candidate.
Since the conclusion of the August 3rd elections in 2013, the Johansen’s administration has faced a lot of disputes and protests by a majority of football stakeholders who still consider her government as illegitimate.
He said: “Secondly, the Johansen’s executive must convene a congress immediately and ensure it is done accordingly, and subsequently defend their actions and stewardship of the association. Also they must provide an acceptable audited report and defend it to the congress.”
The founder and owner of the Edmond Michael Football Foundation further stated that if these three conditions are meet, he will champion a campaign for Madam Johansen to complete his tenure in office.
“If all three is done, I will lead the campaign for Isha to complete her tenure and even go on for more term,” the former Sierra Leone Premier League Board chairman said.
