The Chairman of the National Olympic Committee, Dr. Patrick Coker called off the scheduled SLFA congress yesterday in Makeni.
This came after he lost control over the Congress because he was accused of conniving with Madam Isha Johansen to falsify delegates. The meeting faced a stalemate on item one of the agenda which was the roll call which is where members claimed to have identified several fake delegates. Dr. Patrick Coker then decided to call off the Congress after protracted arguments over the credibility of some of delegates.
In related development, the SLFA members have called for an Emergency Press Briefing at the Sahara Hotel in Makeni. The Press Briefing is to inform the media about what happened in the hall because they now argue that if they are going to wait for another eight weeks for a congress then there should be an interim Executive and not Isha Johansen this time around.

One of the stakeholders Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai of Old Edwardians said the congress did not go as planned because the FA wanted to impose fake delegates. “Those Fake delegates were not allowed and that is why the meeting could not hold,'' Abdulia said
