The Denver took a page out of the Carolina Panthers playbook, scoring in the early going of the first quarter to never relinquish the lead throughout the Game. In a defining game for both quarterbacks who came to Superbowl 50 as fan favorites Peyton Manning of the Denver Broncos who most felt had played the last game of his illustrious career had the upper hand in the contest backed up by a ferocious defense anchored by Von Miller and Demarcus Ware.
It felt like a swan song of a game for Peyton Manning who played a great game even though he was picked off for an interception and harassed a number of times but stuck with the Game plan and if he does retire he will walk away with two Superbowl wins and the most career wins of 200 than any quarterback in the history of the game.
In a game that saw a number of players who entered the NFL during the 2011 draft it was a contest of who was the best draft pick of that year and in today’s contest at Superbowl 50 the bragging rights went to linebacker Von Miller who was the 2nd pick of that draft behind Cam Newton of the Panthers who was that years Number 1 Pick as he came away with MVP honors.
