In a letter date 7 June 2016 signed by CAF President, Issa Hayatou, condolences have been conveyed to the Fédération Guinéenne de Football following the death of Fode Capi Camara, which occurred in Boke, Guinea on 6 June 2016 after a protracted illness.
“The death of the former Director of Horoya AC, Former General Secretary of the Fédération Guinéenne de Football (2003-2011) and former member of the CAF Appeal Board (2005-2010), is a great loss that strikes the entire African football family,” wrote Hayatou who extended condolences “on behalf of the CAF Executive Committee, African football family, Fédération Guinéenne de Football, family of the deceased and the entire Guinean football community”.
