Upset for not making it to Durban South Africa for the African Championships the one-time Record Holder for the 100 meters and African champion; Blessing Okagbare excelled at a IAAF World Challenge meet in Madrid Spain on Thursday June 23rd by posting a season best of 11.09 seconds in the 100 meters.
It is now public knowledge that Blessing could not make it to South Africa over a debacle of Visa issuance by the South African Embassy but that has not stopped the former African Champion and Record holder in the 100 meters from letting the world know that she is in top form and ready for the big stage against the best in the world.
