Two of Major League Soccer’s most prolific performers of the 2015 season may have an extra pep in their step as Father’s Day approaches this Sunday. Within the last two weeks, Sounders FC’s Clint Dempsey and his wife, Bethany, welcomed their fourth child, while Crew SC’s Kei Kamara and his wife, Kristin, welcomed their first. If the arrivals of their newborns provide any added motivation, then the rest of MLS better take notice. Kamara is pacing the Golden Boot race with 10 goals, while Dempsey sits within striking distance in third place with seven tallies. Crew SC have a nicely timed bye this weekend for Kamara’s first Father’s Day, as Sounders FC head to San Jose for a showdown with the Earthquakes. Don’t be surprised if Dempsey has a performance to remember (4 p.m. ET, MLS LIVE).
