Rabada has been included in the Test squad for the Proteas upcoming series against the West Indies. But Rabada is no stranger to being involved at national level, having recently toured Australia and been handed his international debut in the first T20 international in Adelaide.
“I was having cereal in my kitchen and I got a call from Andrew Hudson and he told me of my call up. It feels great. The bigger picture has always been to play Test cricket. That’s were you want to be playing in your career. I’m very happy,” Rabada said of the announcement.
“They believe I’m ready and I’ll also believe I’m ready. I’m just keen to play. I’m just eager to go play and take it ball by ball. I am just going to give it my best and we will see what happens,” Rabada said.
