Here are some of the young players who are expected to illuminate the league this season.
Botshelo Mfulwane (University of Pretoria)
A lanky striker, Mfulwane was promoted from AmaTuks student team earlier in the transfer window. He stands at 1.89 meters and has been likened to former forward Mame Niang from Senegal. The 20 year old has scored goals whenever he has played.
Andile Fikizolo (Supersport United)
The 20 year old burst onto the scene with two goals against Pirates in last season’s Nedbank Cup. Fikizolo is another winger who has pace and trickery to go with his poise. Matsatsantsa snapped him up not long after his showing against Soweto giants Orlando Pirates. He could provide much needed creativity for the strikers at the club.

The 22 year old Pule is a rookie to the Premiership having signed from National First Division side African Warriors during the winter. An attacking midfielder, he was one the young stars of the 2013 Nedbank Cup as his side reached the last eight.
Gavin Hunt, the coach of Wits, had no doubt in his abilities which include a good eye for goal and he could prove to be one of the signings of the season.
Percy Tau (Mamelodi Sundowns)
After some cameo appearances for the Brazilians last season, Tau could feature much more this season as he has been included in a squad that boasts of talent in abundance. The 20 year old midfielder has all the key attributes to succeed in the Premiership.
He is blessed with pace, quick feet, a sharp eye for a pass and is especially handy playing on the wing.
