The countdown is on: On April 01th, the Kitzsteinhorn in Zell am See-Kaprun becomes once again THE hotspot for some international freeride-stars. The contest at the face called Lakarschneid is decisive in many ways. The 3*Qualifier X OVER RIDE will distribute important points for the FWQ-ranking which plays an important role when it comes to the fight for a spot in the Freeride World Tour, and also within the Austrian Freeride Champion title fight.

On April 1st the X OVER RIDE at the Kitzsteinhorn enters the next round. What began as a small contest in 2004 has become an indispensable 3*Freeride World Qualifier on the freeride contest calendar. Not only for local athletes but also for international riders, the X OVER RIDE in Zell am See-Kaprun is annually a must-attend event. Riders from all over the world fight at the face Lakarschneid for important points for the Freeride World Qualifier-ranking. Overall the contest at the Kitzsteinhorn distributes 1.100 points, these can tip the scales in the competition for a starting spot in the premium class, the Freeride World Tour.
