Cote d’Ivoire beat Mali 2-0 in the semi-final on Thursday in Abidjan whilst Ghana edged rivals Nigeria 5-4 on penalties.
Later, Ghana had the last laugh against bitterest rivals Nigeria on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regulation time. Alice Ogebe shot Nigeria into the lead on 10 minutes before Faustina Ampah restored parity seven minutes later.
During penalties, Ghana converted five kicks against four by the Nigerians.
Ghana will face host Cote d’Ivoire in Saturday’s final, which will serve as a repeat of the tournament opener which the Ivorians by a lone goal.
In the third place, Nigeria will battle Mali. The two sides faced-off at the group stage which Nigeria won 1-0.
