Financial services organisation Discovery has announced Wayde van Niekerk – world record holder and Olympic champion in the 400 metres – as a new Discovery Vitality ambassador.
Van Niekerk will represent Discovery Vitality on a global scale, joining Discovery Vitality ambassadors, including, British track and field athlete, Jessica Ennis-Hill; current world number one in women's singles tennis, Angelique Kerber; current captain of England in Test cricket, Joe Root; and English rugby union player, Maro Itoje.
Van Niekerk will represent Discovery Vitality on a global scale, joining Discovery Vitality ambassadors, including, British track and field athlete, Jessica Ennis-Hill; current world number one in women's singles tennis, Angelique Kerber; current captain of England in Test cricket, Joe Root; and English rugby union player, Maro Itoje.
Teaming up with Chad le Clos in South Africa, Van Niekerk will, as a Discovery Vitality ambassador, contribute to Discovery’s core purpose of making people healthier by motivating them to get active and lead healthier lives.
