Uber partners Brazilian soccer clubs

Transportation app Uber has agreed sponsorship deals with Brazilian top-tier soccer clubs Atlético Mineiro and Cruzeiro.

The separate deals will see Uber branding displayed within the number on the back of Atlético Mineiro’s shirts, and on the front of Cruzeiro’s shorts.

As part of the agreements, Uber will offer special promotions to the fans of both Belo Horizonte-based Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A clubs, including discounts on rides to and from games.

Uber already has sponsorship deals in place with at least two other Brazilian soccer teams, top-tier Grêmio and second-tier Internacional.
