- Wydad Casablanca claim 3-1 aggregate win over USM Alger
- Badredine Benbachour scores a brace to help secure final berth
- The Moroccans will play either Al Ahly or Etoile du Sahel in the final
Walid El Karti (26 minutes) and Badredine Benbachour (54 & 90) were the goalscorers for Wydad, while Ayoub Abdellaoui (68) claimed USMA's consolation strike. The only cloud on the horizon for the victors was a red card for Amine Atouchi, which forced them to play the final 35 minutes with ten men and saw them endure some nervy moments before Benbachour's late clincher.
The victory maintains Wydad's outstanding home record in this year's competition, with the Moroccans having won every one of their matches in Casablanca en route to the final.
They can now look forward to a final against either Al Ahly or Etoile du Sahel, who meet for their second leg in Cairo on Sunday following a 2-1 win for the Tunisians in sides' first meeting.
The final will also be a two-legged affair, with the first instalment taking place on 27 October. The winner will go on to represent Africa at the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2017.
