Jordan Pedro, a Ghanaian businessman who is the local representative of the health drink said DeLaVie is a very popular drink in Europe, especially in Switzerland, Hungary, France. Italy, Austria and Germany, as well as some parts of north Africa, but this is the first time it is coming to Ghana and want to associate with sports people.
Pedro expressed that the product has been certified by the Food and Drugs Board of Ghana and very soon the market would be flooded with all the different flavors which come from Alpine Herbs in Switzerland like, the Zero sugar free and Calcium drink which contains ginger, chamomile, echinacea and other multivitamins.
According to the widely-traveled business man, they also have the Slim Burner and DeLaVie Kids drink which are good for people who want to burn fat without ant rigorous and strenuous exercise and children respectively.
Pedro hinted his preparedness to sponsor some sports disciplines like football, especially the Black Stars and two least financed sports, namely Kick Boxing and Weightlifting.
He is considering starting with the upcoming SWAG Awards fixed for May, where all the shakers and movers of sports in Ghana would gather at a particular place.
Nii Adotey Dzata 1, President of the Ghana Kick Boxing Association (GKBA) who tasted the drink alongside Mr. Kofi Gyan a nutritionist said it would be ideal for sports men and women who always want something to cool or refresh them after workouts.
