The team from the Old School Group, who manage the award-winning Cape Town 10s, will also manage the OBX tournament. Stor-Age, title sponsor of the event, has been long involved in tens rugby and the club sport.
As a vehicle for the Education Endowment Fund, the hope is that OBX will become a legacy event that brings communities together to boost self-empowerment through education, all the while enjoying the social fundamentals of sport.
Tournament director of the Stor-Age Old Boys Tens and founder of the Education Endowment Fund, Marcel Malherbesaid: “As we kick off the fourth edition of the OBX, it truly is amazing to see South Africans come together for the sole purpose of nation building.
