The former Juventus star has been an inspiring figure behind the Milo Football competition.
The children are taught football techniques that crystallize their learning and prepare them for bigger games and tournaments.
As with previous editions of the league, this year’s competition is open to age 9-13 years pupils in all public schools across the Country. This event is in collaboration with Ghana Education Service. The games will be played from the district level, through to the nationals where the ultimate winner will be crowned.
Other dignitaries expected to grace the function are Hon. Isaac Asiamah, Youth & Sports Minister, the Minister of Education and Kwesi Nyantekyi, the GFA President.
Nestle Milo have been supporting Ghana Sports for decades and continue to do so with love.
Apart from football, Nestle Milo supports the Accra Milo Marathon and formerly the most exciting Tennis competition in the country.
The Milo U13 Football competition has made many talented young boys to take education serious and they are fascinated with the prizes that are given as rewards to winners after the competition.
