The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Sierra Leone Cricket Association (SLCA), Francis Trevor Samura has issued a stern warning to other Africa nations that the Sierra Leone national team will return to the international scene with a bang.
According to Samura, the other African cricket teams should beware of the high level of determination that the Sierra Leone teams will pose, adding that they are ready to make amends for the wasted year due to the Ebola virus which affected the game in the country.

“Our teams; the senior and junior are determined to create upsets against any team in the continents especially the big guns that is why we are working very hard now that the ban on all sporting activities has been lifted by the president,“ the SLCA boss said adding that everyone should beware now of the threats from the Sierra Leonean teams.
Meanwhile, the SLCA Chairman, Bournce Coker has urged the national team players to prepare themselves and return the country to its past glories.
“There is no room for excuses any longer victory should be a must and not an option for us,” Coker said as he made reference to the over £15,000 to £20,000 equipment which was donated to them by their England based development partner, the Lancashire County Cricket Club.
