Hafsatu Kamara who last represented Sierra Leone at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow Scotland has opened her 2015 track season in Arizona USA in a 200 meters race.
The Califonia State at Northridge University graduate who currently trains at the World Athletics Center in Phoenix Arizona under an Olympic Solidarity Scholarship started her season off with a 24.44 seconds clocking of the 200 meters an event she also hopes to compete in, at the 2015 World Athletics Championships in Beijing China and next year’s Rio Olympic Games.
Hafsatu will compete next weekend (April 17 & 18th 2015) at the Mt Sac Relays in Califonia USA where she hopes to continue to better her time as she builds up towards a solid 2015 season and an appearance at the upcoming IAAF World Athletics Championships.
