The stakes where high last Friday afternoon. Some of the youth who were playing didn't even have any idea what was on the line - but the coaches knew. Representatives from the winning team would have a life changing experience in the coming weeks, participating in the first-ever Super Cup organized by CameroonFDP.
The Super Cup is a weekend packed full of a fun football festival, leadership workshops, and community service which extends far beyond the few days spent in Bamenda, the capital city of the Northwest Region. The experience is set to be something that a youth can only dream about: Traveling by bus to a new place with your teammates, sleeping overnight in a hotel, enjoying community-style dinners, spending time with youth from other regions of the country, and playing a matches in front of huge crowds at the Grand Stand near the Municipal Stadium.
The dream is coming true for Heskey Formation players, coach, and the league director, Kubam Blaise, from Ndu.
The dream will come true for two winning teams who will play in tourneys in Kumba and Ndom this week. And for one special team who is invited from Bamenda, the host community.
Will you be a part of making this dream come true?
