The Northern and Southern hemisphere will collide yet again when the Saracens from UK clash with the Sharks at Allianz Park in London on 25 January. The match between the Aviva Premiership leaders and the South Africa Currie Cup champions will present a rare opportunity to assess the relative strengths of club rugby in the Northern and Southern Hemisphere.

John Smit, the Sharks CEO testified that travelling to London to fulfill the fixture will be a wonderful experience for the players and it will also serve as a crucial part of the Sharks preparations for the Super Rugby season.
“It will be a wonderful experience for our players to travel to London and play at Allianz Park. The match is a crucial part of our preparations for the new Super XV season and it will also be the first match in charge for our new coach, Jack White,” said Smit.
The Sharks hired White at the close of last season and hope that the IRB World Cup winning coach will turn the Durban outfit into a Super Rugby winning side.
