Sierra Leonean midfielder, Samuel Barlay has extended his stay for another year with Swedish second division side, Syrianska IF.
The 28-year-old along with the Swedish club agreed to exercise a contractual clause for an extension until the end of the 2015 league season.
Baraly who joined the red and yellow club in the summer transfer market after a long spell in Azerbaijan's top league decided to stay on with Syrianska IF for another term.
According to the clubs website, before Big Sam as he is fondly called joined the club there was a renewal option in his contract clause and both parties welcomed the idea to sign a new contract.

“Big Sam has contributed and played an important part for us since joining the club. It's no secret that Samuel has an important role in our team. We are obviously delighted that he has chosen to stay with us another season,” says Isaac Turan from the club’s sports committee.

Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United offered the 17-year-old a contract, but he later joined Allsvenskan Malmo FF which promoted his development.
A couple of unfortunate injuries put a stop to an illustrious career and he was sent on loan to Örgryte and later played for IFK Mariehamn.
He had a few successful seasons in the economically strong top league in Azerbaijan before he returned to Syriac during the summer transfer market last season.
