
The SA teams have a great opportunity to fine tune things before the much awaited Commonwealth Games that start in Glasgow from July 23 by their participation in the Investec Cup, which also celebrates the opening of the new London Olympics 2012 legacy venue.

The four competing men’s teams in London are Commonwealth Games countries England, Scotland and South Africa, as well as Ireland.
On the other hand, the four competing women’s teams are England, Scotland, Wales and South Africa.
“We will only have one training here before the Scotland match so we will be looking at getting our passes right in that game,” SA women’s captain, Marsha Cox said.
11th ranked South Africa beat Japan, the worlds 9th ranked team, to finish 9th at the World Cup and if they can get back into the groove quickly, they can build a formidable team.
