The 21-year-old forward who enjoyed a good second half of the season in the Swedish topflight league scoring 14 goals in 12 matches have caught the eyes of several European clubs including the Greek giant.
The striker’s Swedish agent, Patrick Mork has confirmed Panathinaikos’ interest to Swedish journalist Nerikes Allehanda; saying: “- It is no secret anymore that Panathinaikos is interested and they have been here (in Sweden).”
Mork further revealed that the former Kallon FC forward attracted the eyes of former Panathinaikos Sports Director Nikos Dabizas during the final match of the Swedish league season which saw the player score a hat-trick against Hacken.
Despite Dabizas having been fired from Panathinaikos since last week, the Swedish agent believes there is still chance for a deal to go through.
Hull City were also linked with a move for the Sierra Leone striker but wanted him to undergo trials before a deal could be struck but such option was turned down by both Mork and Kamara’s club.
Panathinaikos finished fourth in the Greek league last season.
