Petra Kvitova became the first WTA player to win two titles in the 2018 season, lifting the trophies at the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy and Qatar Total Open (Doha) - both in February. Including her first round victory at the BNP Paribas Open (Indian Wells) today, the Czech is riding a 14-match winning streak, earning the WTA Player of the Month for February.
At only 20-years-old, Daria Kasatkina cracked the WTA Top 20 for the first time in her career after a run to the finals at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. On home soil, the Russian scored her third career win over a reigning WTA World No.1 against Caroline Wozniacki at St. Petersburg, earning the WTA Breakthrough of the Month.
