Nedbank Cup Last Eight Drawn

The draw for the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals were made on Monday, with giant killers Black Leopards rewarded with a home tie against fellow National First Division outfit Vasco da Gama.

Lidoda Duvha produced the upset of the tournament so far on Saturday after dispatching Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 at the FNB Stadium, with Morgan Shivambu and Roggert Nyundu getting the goals for the second-tier club to shock the Premiership leaders.

Meanwhile, SuperSport United issued a big signal of their intent after dumping out defending champions Orlando Pirates, and Matsatsantsa will now continue their title quest against Golden Arrows.

Mamelodi Sundowns coasted into the last-eight after a determined second-half display at the weekend saw them dispatch Platinum Stars 3-1, and they will now take on Premiership rivals Mpumalanga Black Aces.

And finally, another all-Premiership tie will see Ajax Cape Town host Bidvest Wits, with the Urban Warriors having seen off Bloemfontein Celtic in the previous round while the Students beat Pretoria University 3-0.
