KCCA won 1-0 against Egyptian side, El Masry in the first leg last weekend at Phillip Omondi Stadium in Kampala, and travel to Ismailia on Saturday for the return leg.
Mutebi insists there will be no change to his tactical plan, adding that his side will stick to their style of play – offensive, which has yielded results in the past.
“I know Masry will come out to attack, and we must utilize this chance to punish them,” Mutebi said.
The KCCA coach also noted that his team’s continued participation in the continental club championship is a step in the right direction towards the long-term objective of a formidable club status.
“It is important for us to proceed to the group stages because it will help our players improve. You realize that there is a change in attitude, mentality and mindset from the five games we have so far played”
Good news for the Ugandans is the availability of deputy captain Habib Kavuma, who missed out on the first leg due to suspension. Central defender Timothy Awani has also overcome a groin injury to make the trip to Egypt just as Muzamir Mutyaba, who suffered a head injury in the previous meeting.
