MAPUTO (FIBA Women's AfroBasket 2017) - In the build-up to the FIBA Women's AfroBasket 2017, Mozambique have called up 20 players for a training camp, the country's Basketball Federation announced.
The 20-year-old Mucubaquire has recently been named MVP of 2017 National Championship season.
She is joined by newcomers Eleoteria Lhavanguane, Estefania Chiziane and Delma Zita who have featured for Mozambique youth teams.
Regulars Odelia Mafanela, Leia Dongue, Rute Muianga and Deolinda Gimo return once more and are likely to play important roles on and off-court. They're part of the six players who featured at 2014 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup in Turkey.

Mozambique have been drawn in Group B along with Senegal, Nigeria, Egypt, Guinea and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
