Morocco Earns first ever FIFA Women's World Cup win

The Atlas Lionesses of Morocco have eked out a victory against the 'Taegeuk Ladies'of South Korea by a Lone goal playing their hearts out to redeem themselves from their initial Group Stage game embarrassment where they lost by 6 goals to Germany as they subdue the South Koreans for their first ever world cup win.

This win puts the Lionesses in a position to qualify into the round of 16 despite the loss of their first Group Stage Match to Germany. Next up in their final Group H campaign are 'Las Chicas' of Columbia who happened to have defeated the German team that has been widely touted as one of the favorites to win the ongoing world cup.
