Moroccan and Mauritian referees will control the first leg encounter of the 2015 CAF Confederations Cup qualifiers between Algerian ASO Chlef and Sierra Leone’s Kamboi Eagles.
The Moroccan referees; Redouane Jiyed, Issam Benbaba, Mabrouk Youcef and Hicham Tiazi will take full control of the first leg tie this weekend on Sunday February 15.
Meanwhile, the African football governing body, CAF has also appointed Mauritian referees; Amadou Thiam –the central referee to be assisted by countrymen Warr Abdourrahmane, Chikhna Demba Boubou and Kelly Abderrahmen for the second leg tie.
The second leg tie has now been schedule for March 1 in Algeria. In related development, Kamboi Eagles coach Alhaji M Foray alias ‘Abedi’ has hailed his side team spirit after their Wednesday’s training session at the Mohamed Boumezrag Stadium in Chlef.
He said: “We know it is not going to be an easy battle for us but with determination and team spirit nothing is impossible.”
