More than 33,000 fans jammed into Olympic Stadium to witness the Montreal Impact secure a crucial 2-0 result in the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions League semifinal tie on Wednesday night. Thanks to goals from Ignacio Piatti and Victor Cabrera, Montreal heads to Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto looking to deliver a knockout blow to Costa Rican side Alajuelense. If the Impact indeed advances, then they will become the first Canadian club to ever reach the CCL Final. A win will also make Montreal the first MLS club to appear in the final since Real Salt Lake in 2010-11. The second leg is slated for Tuesday, April 7, at 10 p.m. ET (Fox Sports 2) in Alajuela
