Hard working football administrator, Munkaelu Attiah is the northern sector manager of Qatar based Aspire Football Dreams Academy in Ghana and the founder of Bolga Maugel Ladies.
He is also credited with the formation of clubs like Upper Stars owned by Baby Jet Academy SC and Peace Rangers.
He holds BA in Social and Development Administration and also studied in Germany. He was former GRASAG president and a consultant for other sports clubs.
He told Yours Truly the new appointment is a challenge for him to raise the standard of Women’s Football in the northern sector and attract spectatorship and sponsorships.
According to the young enterprising adventurer, he needs the support of everyone in the team and Tamale to succeed and he is very much optimistic of taking the Northern Ladies FC to the desired level.
He praised the team for their performances in retaining the Unity Cup and maintaining its reputation as the best female club in the north.
The club which was founded in 2005 plays at the Tamale Sports Stadium and is appealing for corporate sponsorship to be able to cater for the needs of the players and entire team in general.
Munkaelu Jnr. said it is time that the national team selector cast their net wider because there are very good talents in the north who are not only tall, but have stamina to run for more than 90 minutes.
He noted that Ghana Female Soccer has a future and he is coming to play his part and contribute to the development and promotion of the game.
