In the days preceding the kick-off of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016, the tournament’s Local Organising Committee (LOC) has announced the completion of all tournament preparations, indicating the Kingdom’s readiness to host the region’s first-ever FIFA women’s event. The tournament, which is set to become the largest sporting event in Jordan’s history, kicks off on Friday 30 September with matches in Amman and Irbid.
Tickets for the tournament will be sold up until the Final match on Friday 21 October. They are available for purchase at prices ranging from JOD 2 to JOD 50 to ensure that all Jordanians and their families wishing to attend have access to tickets at varying prices to suit their budgets. Tickets are currently being sold online through the official ticketing website, accessible through FIFA.com, and at fixed points-of-sale in all three host cities, Amman, Zarqa and Irbid.
