Hardus Viljoen produced an excellent spell of bowling to destroy the Warriors and earn the bizhub Highveld Lions a 148-run final day Sunfoil Series win at the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Sunday.

A victory of such a margin, however, still seemed unlikely after the hosts batted for just under 15 overs at the start of the day and added 73. They eventually declared on 335/8 with their quick runs coming through Wiaan Mulder (36 off 52 balls) and Viljoen, who smashed 25 from only 10 balls.
Spinner Simon Harmer ended with 4/92.
