The second phase of commercialisation of LaLiga’s international media rights concerns markets in Europe, Asia and Oceania.
Also included in the tender are: Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Hong Kong, India, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Bids will be accepted through to February 5.
The second phase comes after LaLiga last month launched a tender process for media rights in Europe.
The tenders include rights to games from the top-tier Primera División, along with the play-off matches that determine promotion to the league and additional programming.
The first tender covered 32 markets, excluding Spain. The rights are being marketed in countries within the European Economic Area for the three seasons spanning 2018-19 to 2020-21.
Offers are being accepted for rights in countries outside the EEA for the five seasons spanning 2018-19 to 2022-23. The deadline for offers under the first tender had been set for 15 January.
