Key highlights of the Ticketing Guide

  1. The first Gold of the Games will be in the Women’s Triathlon on Thursday 24 July at Strathclyde
Country Park.

  1. The first ever Mixed Triathlon Team Relay Gold medal will be awarded on Saturday 26 July
while the first ever Women’s Boxing Commonwealth Gold medals will be decided on 2 August.

  1. The 100m Finals (Men’s and Women’s) will take place on the evening of Monday 28 July at
Hampden Stadium.

  1. Saturday 2 August will be a jam-packed with Gold medal action, with 34 Gold medals up for
grabs in Aquatics (Diving) Athletics, Boxing, Hockey, Squash, Table Tennis and Powerlifting.

  1. Tour de Force: The Men’s and Women’s Road Races will speed through the streets of
Glasgow on Sunday 3 August, starting in Glasgow Green and passing by iconic locations on a lapped course across the city of Glasgow towards the West End before returning for a sprint finish at Glasgow Green on the last lap.

Aquatics: Diving

 

Don’t miss the finals of the Men’s 10m Platform event on the evening of Saturday 2 August

 

Aquatics: Swimming

With nail-biting finishes that’ll leave you breathless the first night of Swimming finals take place on Thursday 24 July with the Men’s 200m Breaststroke and 400m Freestyle and Women’s 400m Individual Medley.

The evening Sunday 29 July features medal events in the Men’s 50m Freestyle and 200m Individual Medley.

 

Athletics

 

The Men’s and Women’s 100m Final will take place on the evening of Monday 28 July at Hampden Stadium.

 

Wednesday 30 July – The Heptathlon comes to a close.

The finals of the Men’s 200m, 800m and the 400m Hurdles, and the Para-Sport 1500m T-54 all take place on Thursday 31 July.

 

Badminton

Gold medal matches in Men’s and Women’s Singles and Doubles, as well as the Mixed Doubles Final will take place on Sunday 3 August.

 

Boxing

Saturday is Finals day. All Men’s and Women’s finals will take place on Saturday 2 August.

 

Cycling

Friday night inside the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome. On Friday 25 July the medal- races for the Men’s Para-Sport 1000m Time Trial B Tandem and Men’s Sprint will take place, while the women will battle it out for Gold in the 3000m Individual Pursuit.

The streets of Glasgow will be packed on both Thursday 31 July for the Men’s and Women’s Individual Time Trial races and on Sunday 3 August for the Men’s and Women’s Road Races.

 

Gymnastics

The Men’s and Women’s Individual All-Around finals will take place on the afternoon and evening of Wednesday 30 July. The poise, strength and agility of the best gymnasts in the Commonwealth will be on display, not to be missed.

Hockey

Going for Gold on Glasgow Green. The Women’s Bronze and Gold medal matches will take place on the evening of Saturday 2 August. Men’s Bronze and Gold medal matches begin the following morning on the final day of the Games on Sunday 3 August.

 

Judo

 

The SECC will come to its feet on the evenings of July 24, 25 and 26 July. Get involved, add your voice, increase the volume and experience the Gold medals up for grabs every night acrpss every weight category.

 

Lawn Bowls

Kelvingrove will be the centre of attention on Friday 1 August as Men’s (Fours and Singles) and Women’s (Pairs) Lawn Bowls Gold and Bronze medal matches take place.

 

Netball

The best of the best in the Commonwealth will meet on Sunday 3 August for the Gold and Bronze medal Netball matches.

 

Shooting

 

Tuesday 29 July is the final day of Shooting at Barry Buddon Shooting Centre and will see Finals in the Men’s Trap 25m Rapid Fire Pistol, Women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions and the Open Queen’s Prize Individual events.

 

Squash

All eyes will be on the best Squash players in the Commonwealth as they battle it out inside a glass-walled - court in Singles medal matches on Monday 28 July.

 

Table Tennis

It’s going to be a super Saturday at Scotstoun Sports Campus on August 2 as the finals of the Mixed Doubles, Men’s Singles and Women’s Doubles matches are contested.

 

Triathlon

The Individual Triathlon events take place on Thursday 24 July. Also look out for the Triathlon Mixed Team Relay race taking place at Strathclyde Country Park on Saturday 26 July. It’s a first for the Commonwealth Games and is sure to be a captivating spectacle.

 

Weightlifting / Powerlifting

The Clyde Auditorium will play host to finals on every night of competition, with the Women’s 48kg taking place on Thursday 24 July and the Men’s +105kg final on Thursday 31 July.

 

Wrestling

The first Glasgow 2014 Wrestling medals will be decided on Tuesday 29 July at the SECC Precinct. Don’t miss Gold and Bronze medal matches in the Men’s Freestyle 55kg, 74kg and 120kg and Women’s Freestyle 48kg and 72kg.

 

Rugby Sevens

A weekend of non-stop, fast paced Rugby Sevens action at Ibrox Stadium will culminate in the Gold and Bronze medal matches on the evening of Sunday 27 July.
