On Saturday June 3rd, 17-year-old Isaac Fullah of the United Kingdom officially began his journey into stardom in American Football when he received his first official letter of selection to the UK’s Under 19 Team that will face France this summer.
Isaac son of a Sierra Leonean father; Dr. Alfred Fullah popularly known as Veenod and a British Mom’s rise to prominence in American football, a game he had little exposure in playing growing up is meteoric to say the least.
He had decided a year back on whether to pursue playing Basketball or American Football, two American sports disciplines he had come to love despite being born in the UK home of Football or what Americans call Soccer but with some advice a year back he made a choice to go all in on American Football and his progression has been nothing but phenomenal.
Isaac a sturdy 6ft plus physical specimen at 17 with a body and personality that is made for the billboards and glossy magazines, has proven himself with his grit and determination to rise above the fray with eye popping performances at the NFL academy in the UK. Naturally he got a call up for a tryout for the UK’s Under 19 team and surely enough he was selected as one of the top prospects to wear the British Uniform when they lock horns against France this summer.
Isaac is a Running Back but is open to learning all facets of the game and is looking to move to the US to explore opportunities at going pro eventually and hopefully someday will get to be one of the rare NFL draft picks from the UK.
