On November 20th a round ball we fondly know as Football resembling the spherical shape of mother earth will be kicked off to kick start the global quadrennial festivities of a tournament called the FIFA World Cup to crown the best 11 in the world in Qatar (The first Arab Nation to host the tournament since the first Edition in 1930 in Uruguay).
352 Starters from 32 Nations will run around a 125m x 85m (136 x 93 yards) rectangular pitch called a field seeking to connect and direct that round spherical shaped inflated leather called football (Soccer Ball - for the North Americans) in synchronized unison to get past a goalkeeper into a 7.32 meters (width) x 2.44 meters (height) goal area capped in the back by a net advancing from stage to stage till they get to the Finals to eventually win the much coveted FIFA trophy.
Football (Soccer) is religion in many parts of the world if not all and is arguably the most popular sports in the world (besides Cricket ), and that religion will be called to order as the High Priests, Prophets and rabid congregants are called to order to worship the *God's of Soccer* through a glass screen portal, chanting their way through a month of frenzied worship silencing everything else remotely Sportslike during that period ... heck even regular daily business till the crescendo (climax if you will) is reached a month later on December 18th 2022.
Emotions will undulate from very high highs to depression like low lows as successes and disappointments punctuate campaigns led by national heroes (Gods) in their quest to bring glory home and forever be etched in the psyches of their worshippers and historical content mediums (Books, Documentaries and new age variants like TikTok, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook)
