Tagoe, 31, beat South African Mzonke Fana via unanimous decision to clinch the IBO world title on February 12, 2016, but has been left inactive following the late withdrawals of his several of his intended opponents following that win which made him Ghana's eighth world champion.
"Saucedo is a tough boxer but Gameboy is training very hard and he is poised to make a defence of the belt. We are also looking at making a mandatory defence of the title this year but our main agenda is to unify the division".
Mr Addo disclosed that this outfit was pulling all the stops to put-up a world class bout with over $200,000 spent on the event which will also witness musical performances from Afro-beats trio MzVee, Kidi and Kuami Eugene.
The bill is completed by an eight-round Lightweight Contest between Michael Pappoe and Enoch Lamptey while Theophilus Tetteh will engage an as yet to be named opponent in a six-round Super Bantamweight contest.
