Morocco’s FUS Rabat received a major boost with reports that their quintet; Badr Boulahroud, Ass Mandaw Sy, Mehdi El Bassel, Youssef Lagnaoui and Adam Naffati will be ready Saturday’s Total CAF Champions League return leg clash against Sierra Leone’s FC Johansen.
Coach Walid Regragui who was without the players in their 1-1 draw last Saturday in Freetown sees the quintet as a reinforcement to his squad.
FC Johansen on the other hand will have the service of defender Ibrahim ‘Soja’ Kamara who will be returning from suspension from a CAF Champions League match in which he picked-up a red card.
‘Soja’ received the marching order during FC Johansen’s 2013 CAF Confederation Cup return leg tie against Barrack Young Controller (BYC II) in Monrovia, Liberia.
The defender missed his squad 1-1 draw against Morocco FUS Rabat in Freetown last Saturday but was included in the squad that departed Freetown in the earlier hours of thursday morning and is expected to regain his starting spot in Coach John Keister’s squad.
Keister hopes that the defender’s return is going to give his side a major boost in both his defending and attacking options.
