The deal is the replacement of the Nike contract that expired a couple of years ago and has seen Zambia use Kappa of Italy in the transitional period over the last one year. The deal will run for two years, but financial details of the package were not revealed.
FAZ general secretary Ponga Liwewe said: “The Football Association of Zambia is pleased to announce that it recently concluded negotiations with MAFRO to become a new kit sponsor of the Zambia National team. The kit sponsorship deal between FAZ and MAFRO is for a 2-year period.
“As an Association we are proud that this deal has been unveiled when the junior Chipolopolo participates in the 2017, South Korea U-20 Fifa World Cup.”
