Al-Taawoun FC have confirmed the transfer of Sierra Leone striker Alhaji ‘Andriano’ Kamara as their second signing ahead of the kick-start of the Saudi Professional League.
The Sierra Leone international joins the Saudi Arabia Pro League side for an undisclosed fee and the club confirmed the deal on Friday morning on their Twitter account which ended the long rumor of the player’s departure from D.C. United.
While on loan with the Kickers, the former Norrköping forward scored four goals in nine matches including a hat-trick against Ottawa on May 27th. He also made a single appearance for United this season at Orlando.
The news of Kamara signing has been welcomed by fans of the Saudi based club as they reacted positively to the news on the club’s twitter page.
