The Campaign of the Year presented by Vodacom has also proved a firm favourite, and closely contested at the Awards. This year it will see Coca-Cola’s #ThatsGold, Gauteng Cricket Board’s The Pink Day, New Balance’s Feel the Fire, Rand Merchant Bank’s RMB Collaborative Thinking, SA Rugby’s #LoveRugby, and the Toyota Fortuner’s 4x4 Challenge go up against each other.
Industry heavyweight agencies Levergy, MSCSport, Playmakers, and Stillwater Sports will this year be battling it out for Agency of the Year presented by Gallo Images. Renowned sporting brands adidas, Absa Cape Epic, DHL, New Balance, and The Proteas will contest for Brand of the Year presented by Tsogo Sun.
With increased interest in mass participation events in South Africa, we have Absa Cape Epic, The Color Run South Africa, parkrun South Africa, Nedbank Tour de Tuli, Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon, and The OTTER African Trail Run competing in the Participation Event of the Year presented by SuperSport.
Audi Proteas Batting Masterclass, Audi Bowling Lab, and Ryder Cycling’s Tour de France Qhubeka Musette together with Coca-Cola’s #ThatsGold and the Gauteng Cricket Board’s The Pink Day are in the running for the Creative Activation of the Year, presented by WorldWide Sports.
