The captain of the Ghana Immigration Service Team retained the title they won last year and have promised to maintain their form and domination.
Abrefa was also optimistic of winning this year’s SWAG Best Table Tennis Award.
He said the Ping Pong game is interesting and called on institutions to sponsor more tournaments for the players.
He commended the team that represented Ghana at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and hoped that they perform better next time.
He hoped to represent Africa next time at the 2020 Olympics in Japan.
Abrefa thanked the Almighty God for how far He has brought him and officials of the Ghana Table Tennis Federation especially Mawuko Afadzinu, the president, coaches Owusu Ansah and Eben Whyte and his employers and play mates.
The Ghana number one in Table Tennis was also grateful to his manager, Mr. Charles Richard Techie Mensah, Asky Airlines, Goil Ghana, Sun Seekers Tours, Graphic Sports and your truly. He gave special mention to his inspirer and motivator, Maudren Owusu Amankwah for supporting him over the years.
