Sierra Leone international midfielder Alfred ‘Zagalo’ Sankoh and Turkish first division side, Denizlispor have parted company on mutual consent just five months after renewing his contract with the club.
The 29-year-old, put-pen-to-paper with the Turkish side Denizlispor in July 2017 and has only made seven appearances this season before the club announced they have parted company.
Meanwhile, the former Khazar Lankaran midfielder claimed that the club wanted to force him to play despite the fact that he is injured.
He told footballsierraleone.net: “The club is in relegation zone and because of that they’re forcing me to play in spite of my injury, from mid-October I was injured so they can’t be patient me anymore.”
“The club’s President and Coach stressed me so much because I told them I can’t force to play and damage my career due to my injury.”
The former Strømsgodset, Şanlıurfaspor, Khazar Lankaran and Balikesirspor midfielder remain remains tight lipped on where he is headed next.
