Kwesi Tabury hinted that Decathlon will be commissioned formally on April 22 to open the biggest Sportswear shop in West Africa where their affordable merchandise can be purchased.
The French sportswear powerhouse, Decathlon joined NASCO ElectqQricals, Bank of Africa, Lara Mart, Lord of the Wings to raise funds for Astros Football Academy to run their activities.
Established five years ago, Astro Football Club has made remarkable strides and the founder and CEO Wesam Moussallem did not hold back her words of gratitude to the various people who have played diverse role in keeping the Academy aloft.
The staunch football fan who supports Manchester United and prefers to be called "Ekua" amidst tears expressed her profound gratitude to the various stakeholders who have been of immense help to the academy and promised her undivided commitment and willingness to ensure that the academy turns out great talents for the country.
The business magnate expressed the hope that the academy will grow in the coming years to compete with the world's renowned talent developing hubs.
