ABIDJAN (FIBA Africa U18 Women’s Championship 2016) - With just 9 days to the tip off of the 2016 FIBA Africa U18 Women’s Championship,Cote d’Ivoire’s Head Coach Joskan Kouakou has announced his 12 player Final roster.
The duo of teenager who combined for 38 points in their last game of the FIBA Africa Zone 3 qualifiers will be the backbone of the Ivorian team at this year’s FIBA Africa's youth flagship event which will run from 26-4 September in Cairo, Egypt.

Their target is to advance to semis for their fifth appearance at the African flagship youth tournament.
‘‘We know that tournament will tough, but we will battle with our main weapons to reach the Semi-Finals’’, he told FIBA.com.
For coach Kouakou it's obvious that,‘‘Mali, Mozambique, Angola and hosts Egypt are the title contenders but we also have what it takes to reach the podium’’.
‘‘Even if our team is made up of young players, we will not be in Cairo just to make up numbers’’, he pointed out.
